Mercato, North Adelaide
The way to Mercato

The way to Mercato in North Adelaide, newly done up? :)
Quiet on weekends. Adelaide is really all about winter.
Coffee first
Coffee first! A long black. Tasty. Maybe because it’s Italian style, it’s strong.
While taking in the vintage Italian posters and the mood around..
the pastries come out. yummmmm. Ordered a chocolate lobster tail + vanilla cornetto.
First time having a cornetto, and I’m not sure I can tell how it tastes different from a croissant.
The lobster tail is seriously seriously crispy. That softness made out of all those thin layers.
The savoury one came out too. Nothing too special given what the menu is, but having cafe bacon after a while feels good.
receipt. No weekend surcharge and the price is satisfying.
Hope this quality keeps up. The staff were cheerful and the vibe was good. Thank you ☺️.
Groceries and the deli corner

There are other desserts too :)
Now for a look around
After the meal it’s a good spot to browse wine, groceries, and so on.
Oil tasting
Wine bar
Deli corner. I really like focaccia, so this would be a good place to try it 😁.
The streets around and the murals
This is the building Mercato is in, newly built, though I don’t really know its name.
Found some small murals on the way back to the car. Vivid murals on a sunny day, what a lovely neighbourhood.
Had a good fun look around on a Sunday morning. :)
