Where even is Yangjiang?

We call a DiDi to Guangzhou South to catch the morning fast train.

Absolutely enormous.

The fast train

The journey takes about two hours. Looking out at the scenery, you really get a feel for how warm Guangzhou is and how much water there is. With a big port here too (apparently this was where most of the tea was traded), no wonder the region seems to have been so busy and wealthy for so long.

My wife’s older brother came to pick us up. He says new cars these days are all electric.
